The Speaker of the House of Representatives, the Hon Milton Dick MP has announced the details for the issuing of the writ for the election of a Member of the House of Representatives, for the electoral division of Fadden in Queensland.

The dates in connection with the by-election will be as follows:

Close of rolls                                    Monday, 19 June 2023

Close of nominations                  Thursday, 22 June 2023

Declaration of nominations     Friday, 23 June 2023

Date of polling                                Saturday, 15 July 2023

Return of writ                                  On or before Wednesday, 20 September 2023.
