Former Socceroo farewells RDA Roos to bring cup home to Australia

What:              Former Socceroo Star, Jade North, farewells 11 Rheinmetall Defence Australia Team members to Germany to play in the 32nd global Rheinmetall Cup.

                        11 Rheinmetall Defence Australia team members from areas such as Security; Engineering; IT and Legal and Commercial will depart Brisbane on Wednesday 14 June bound for the global headquarters, Dusseldorf, where they will compete against 32 global Rheinmetall teams in a bid to win the Rheinmetall Cup on Saturday 17 June.

                        Jade will share tips and tricks with the Rheinmetall Roos to bring the cup home to Australia for the first time.

                        The Rheinmetall Roos represent most departments of the business and gained a place on the team by trying out from more than 65 participants.  This is a merit-based employee recognition program in additional to other generous benefits to the team.

Who:               Jade North is a former professional footballer who played centre back or right back.  A former member of the Australian National Team (Socceroos) and Brisbane Strikers and Perth Glory. 

He is Co-Chair of Football Australia’s inaugural National Indigenous Advisory Group.
