Bacchus to host How to Drink Australian, the new wine tome by Jane Lopes and Jonathon Ross

 

Be you literary, wine or food buff, mark your diary for August 9, because this is the evening Bacchus Restaurant will host the Brisbane launch of the new must-read for Australian wine enthusiasts, How to Drink Australian by acclaimed authors, Jane Lopes and Jonathan Ross.  The wine dinner and Brisbane launch event features a custom-created and regionally matched menu by Bacchus Chef de Cuisine Manuele Erriu, with paired wines (of course!), and commentary by the host and authors themselves as they share highlights from their new book.

Saturday 2 September - Bacchus Riverfire Degustation

Welcome Brisbane Festival at Bacchus with an expertly crafted degustation by Chef de Cuisine Manuele Erriu on Riverfire night! The 5pm sitting allows for those wanting to dine before walking to South Bank to enjoy the spectacular fireworks across the city, while the 7.30pm sitting allows diners to relax into the evening with an extended selection.

Tuesday 7 November - Melbourne Cup High Tea

From 12noon to 3pm Bacchus will host their now famed, far-from-the-madding crowds High Tea event to mark Australia’s greatest horserace. Tickets are $89pp and includes High Tea + Sparkling on arrival, florals, prizes and sweeps.

 

At sister venue, SOLEIL POOL BAR, it’s all about Après Soleil!

It’s time to pop on that puffer jacket, kick up your UGG boots and embrace the winter chill with Après Soleil! All Winter Soleil Pool Bar is the ultimate winter party destination – think mouth-watering pizzas, steamy fondue, beer towers, the return of Sunday Fundays and make it a pinot party in with Dicey wines by the box. Dance the night away with live entertainment featuring snow shows on the decks, or cosy up under faux mink blankets in a booth by the fire.
