RISSafety 2 mins read

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

RISSafety announces the 100% acquisition of Melbourne-based safety company, Safety Plus Australia. The agreement is effective from today (14 July 2023) and will see RISSafety and Safety Plus Australia continue to operate as standalone brands with independent sales channels in market.

Whilst a very exciting development for us and the industry, in the immediate future nothing changes,” says Mark Casey, CEO of RISSafety. “It is very important that we focus on delivering our existing projects safely and profitably and winning new work for both brands.”

Safety Plus Australia is a specialist height safety company based in Knoxfield, Victoria, and focuses on retrofit projects and recertifications. The acquisition will secure the future for both entities, strengthening RISSafety’s market presence in Victoria, and furthering the group’s reputation as a market leader in height safety services and solutions in Australia.

“This acquisition will strengthen our market presence in Victoria and RISSafety and Safety Plus Australia operate under shared values of safety and quality, so it made sense to bring this respected business into our group,” Mark explains. “We're privileged to share the expertise of their employees and have no doubt that their strong success rate of delivery will continue in this new stage of growth."
