Self Talk, a unique dance experience by Vietnamese-Australian artists

Self Talk (2023) is a dance experience created by David Trí Nguyen that explores the internal dialogue that goes on within one’s mind. Whether positive, negative or biased, Self Talk is an open and honest conversation about how we speak to ourselves on a daily basis.

David Trí Nguyen is a Vietnamese-Australian multi-disciplinary Artist from Melbourne (Naarm), Australia. He is currently the co-founder/director of Flying Art Studio®, co-director of BAS (Burncity Area Squad) and PDHT dance crew and founder of GRINDTIME.

David has been directing and choreographing both films and live dance performances for over 14 years and is an alumni of the New Ground Program which is funded by The Myer Foundation. He was a recipient in 2022 and produced his first show, 'Old Sayings'; this will be his second live show.
