Zenith Minerals (ASX:ZNC) (“Zenith”, or the “Company”), a leading mining and exploration company, today announced the maiden inferred mineral resource estimate for its Dulcie Far North Prospect, part of the Company's 100% owned Split Rocks Gold Project.
The Dulcie Far North resource estimate, at a 0.5 g/t Au cut-off, stands at 3.4 million tonnes at 1.4 g/t Au, accounting for an estimated 150,000 ounces of gold. Zenith has full ownership of the gold rights below 6m and all other mineral rights, including lithium from surface, following its acquisition of the Dulcie Far North Mining Lease (M77/1292) in January 2023.
The prospect is located within the renowned Southern Cross-Forrestania Greenstone Belt of Western Australia, an area with a strong history of mineral productivity. The resource estimation suggests substantial potential for expansion, particularly within identified drill section gaps, along strike to the north, at depth, and in potential parallel structures within Zenith’s tenure.
The Company is moving forward to leverage this potential, with plans in place for further infill and step-out reverse circulation drilling. Zenith is also actively engaging with various parties to assist in pit optimisation studies, plus ore reserves calculations within the granted Dulcie Far North Mining Lease.
Executive Chair of Zenith Minerals, David Ledger, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, "We are excited to report this maiden Mineral Resource within our 100% owned land, in line with our expectations, scheduled timeline, and budget that now allows us to look at monetising this strategic gold asset for the benefit of Zenith shareholders.”
This development underscores Zenith's commitment to its strategic growth plan, with a focus on unlocking value for its shareholders by exploiting the extensive opportunities at its wholly owned Split Rocks Gold Project.
