Adelaide tram workers industrial action

AMO / Torrens Connect workers will be taking protected industrial action to stop work between 4.45am to 7.45am tomorrow (Friday 1 September 2023).  This work stoppage will cause interruptions to morning peak tram services.

During that time, workers will meet outside the Glengowrie Tram Depot to discuss the next steps in their campaign for better pay.  RTBU SA/NT Secretary Darren Phillips will be available for interviews at the conclusion of that meeting at 7.15am.

WHAT:  Opportunity for interviews regarding tram workers’ campaign for better pay;

WHO:  RTBU SA/NT Branch Secretary Darren Phillips (tram workers will be in attendance, however are unable to do interviews due to their employment obligations)

WHEN:  7.15am, tomorrow (Friday 1 September 2023)

WHERE:  Glengowrie Tram Depot, 75 Maxwell Terrace, Glengowrie
