What are Australia’s most loved Christmas Carols?
Australia’s biggest annual Christmas event, Woolworths Carols in the Domain, is running a nationwide poll to discover the answer with Aussies invited to vote for their favourite Carol via the event’s official website – www.carolsinthedomain.com
“Carols” longstanding Executive Producer, Michael McKay, says the “Carols Countdown” will reveal our Top 20 Carols at this year’s Woolworths Carols in the Domain, to be broadcast on Channel 7 in December.
“Will it be Silent Night, O Holy Night, Away In A Manger? Everyone has a favourite and there’s so many to choose from, with 38 on the list, so having our nation decide their favourites is the best way to get everyone in the festive spirit and singing along.
“This is the first time, in the event’s 41 year history, that Aussies have the chance to vote on their most loved traditional Carols so you could definitely say it’s our most democratic musical line-up ever” Michael added.
And just in time for Christmas and Aussies abroad, the “Carols” team will put together an international livestream TV special that features its Official Top 20 Carols.
The “Carols Countdown – Australia Decides” official poll is open until October 1st at www.carolsinthedomain.com
