The Australian Fathering Awards 2023 will draw attention to the critical role Fathers and Father Figures play in a child’s life, by shinning a spotlight on dads making a difference in their community, sporting group, workplace or as a public figure.

The upcoming Australian Fathering Awards on Thursday 31st August 2023, supported by The Fathering Project will announce:  The
Australian Father of the Year, Australian Sports Father of the Year, Australian Community Father of the Year and Australia's Best Workplace for Fathers. The Australian Fathering Awards will be held at the Maritime Museum hosted by Adam Liaw, with keynote address by Sam Mostyn and welcome by Maurice Newman AC.

DATE   Thursday 31 August 2023
TIME:   Arrive 10.45 for 11.00am sharp start, followed by refreshments
VENUE: The Maritime Museum
                2 Murray St, Sydney NSW
                *Limited media parking will be provided

Visually, a team of mini chefs aged between 8-12 will apron-and-cap-up to decorate the cake they have cooked to celebrate the winner’s achievement, and also the 10-year anniversary of The Fathering Project in Australia.

*Award winners will be flying in from across Australia for these awards.

A digital media kit will be available on the day and include:
+ Award recipients’ solo image
+ Award recipients with their family/children
+ B-Roll of recipient with their family + set of Vox pops
+ Mp3 content for radio/news breaks.
