HOBART, Tasmania - August 25, 2023 - STEPS Group Australia, a leading provider of employment, training, and NDIS services, announces the conclusion of its Jobs Hub service contract with Glenorchy City Council. The decision by the Council not to renew the contract will result in the cessation of our operations at the Glenorchy Jobs Hub on August 31, 2023.

Despite the disappointment surrounding this development, STEPS Group Australia takes immense pride in the significant impact it has made during its tenure at the Glenorchy Jobs Hub. Over the past two years, the organisation has successfully engaged local job seekers, fostered meaningful connections with the business community, and facilitated numerous employment opportunities for over 1000 individuals. Notable achievements include the establishment of unskilled job placements and the successful running of two well-attended Jobs Fairs.

The dedicated and hardworking STEPS Group Australia staff have been instrumental in the success of the Glenorchy Jobs Hub. Their unwavering commitment to empowering individuals and their tireless efforts have been deeply appreciated by everyone within our organisation.

While the conclusion of our operations at the Glenorchy Jobs Hub is a significant milestone, STEPS Group Australia remains fully committed to providing exceptional employment, training, and NDIS services. Our existing Hobart office will continue to serve as a vital hub for these services, ensuring that individuals across Tasmania receive the support they need. Additionally, we are excited to announce our intention to expand our operations statewide in the near future, extending our reach and positively impacting more lives.
