Excelling building and construction businesses celebrated

Master Builders Australia 2 mins read

Master Builders Australia proudly hosted the 2023 National Business Excellence Awards tonight at Hinchcliff House in Sydney, a prestigious event that recognises and celebrates outstanding achievements in financial management, operations, customer service, business improvement, and corporate social responsibility within the building and construction industry.

The awards validate and celebrate the businesses who are leading the way in best practice and have instilled this objective into their long-term business strategy.

As the only industry awards program that recognises business excellence, it aims to inspire all businesses in the building and construction industry, large and small, to make excellence in best practice the foundation of their mission and brand.

This year's Business Excellence Awards showcase the industry's commitment to fostering sustainability and resilience, as well as the remarkable ability of businesses to thrive amidst a difficult economic environment.

Master Builders Australia CEO Denita Wawn said: “Master Builders is dedicated to promoting best practices within the industry. Our commitment to promoting industry excellence is underscored by our recently released 2050 Sustainability Goals, which outlines our determination to foster a more robust, viable, and sustainable industry.

“By addressing critical issues affecting business performance, minimising risks, and maximising opportunities through an Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) framework, we aim to shape a sustainable future for businesses, workers, and communities.”

The 2023 National Business Excellence Awards attracted a significantly higher number of entries compared to previous years. This growth reflects not only the increasing recognition of these awards but also the capacity of our finalists and winners to demonstrate that they have been assessed by industry leaders as running outstanding businesses.

This year's competition featured 25 finalists across eight different categories. After rigorous evaluation and deliberation, we are thrilled to announce the winners of the 2023 National Business Excellence Awards:
