Queensland Pacific Metals Limited (ASX: QPM),“QPM” or the “Company,” has announced the Queensland Government's continued strong support for its endeavors, as reflected in the latest decision by the Deputy Premier and Minister for State Development, Infrastructure, Local Government and Planning, Hon Dr Steven Miles. The Ministry has extended the Prescribed Project declaration for QPM’s TECH Project by an additional two years, extending its duration until 28 September 2025.

The award of a Prescribed Project status represents a project's significant contribution, both economically and socially, to the state of Queensland. This declaration not only highlights the project's importance but also imbues the Coordinator-General with the powers to ensure decisions are made promptly, further emphasizing the priority and attention the TECH Project garners from state leadership.

This recent development marks yet another milestone in QPM’s journey and reinforces the Queensland Government's confidence in the TECH Project's potential to bring remarkable benefits to the state.
