Solentive & InRule Technology demonstrates
AI Decisioning Platform delivers remarkable
421% ROI

The Total Economic ImpactTM of InRule reveals customers save time, increase transparency and boost profits by automating decisions and processes with InRule

Sydney, September 06, 2023 – Solentive, an Australian Technology Consulting company specialising in digital transformation and AI automation solutions and the exclusive APAC distributor of InRule, has unveiled the findings of a Total Economic Impact study conducted by Forrester Consulting.

The InRule AI Decisioning Platform seamlessly integrates decision-making, machine learning, and process automation, poised to transform how businesses conceptualise, implement, execute, oversee, and uphold intricate rules and complex business logic across organisations of all sizes.

The study found that InRule delivered a return on investment (ROI) of 421% and a net present value (NPV) of $6.03 million (USD) over three years, and a payback period of less than six months for a composite organisation based on interviewed customers.

The Study was commissioned to quantify the potential ROI enterprises may realise by deploying InRule’s AI Decisioning Platform.

According to the study, prior to implementing InRule, the interviewed organisations struggled to manage their complex, legacy approach to automated decisioning, which included rules that were hard-coded by IT teams. As a result, the surveyed organisations were hindered by lengthy change cycles, duplication of logic across systems, and an inability for business users to be involved in the rules decisioning process. This hard-coded approach negatively impacted both employee and customer experiences.

The study revealed that by implementing InRule, an organisation can deploy rules easier and faster and empower business users to manage the logic they know best, reducing the risk of costly errors and lengthy change cycles.

Additionally, the study uncovered the following three-year, risk-adjusted present value (PV) quantified benefits:

  • Up to 80% time-savings creating rules and automated decisions
  • An 80% reduction in time spent modifying existing rules and decisions
  • A $3.8 million (USD) increase in profit due to rules sophistication
  • A return on investment of 421%
  • Net present value of $6.03 million (USD)
  • A payback period of less than six months (for the initial investment)

“Today’s enterprises are facing headwinds of ongoing economic uncertainty and staffing shortages, resulting in scrutiny for every investment to ensure a swift, favorable impact on the business,” said InRule Co-Founder and CEO Rik Chomko. “The Total Economic Impact of InRule study substantiates what our customers already know: InRule delivers quantifiable, positive business impact by putting the power of decision and workflow automation in the hands of the business, shortening time to value and helping enterprises differentiate themselves through personalised experiences that drive customer loyalty and positive business outcomes.”

“Based on our successful projects with APAC companies, we are confident that InRule can revolutionise how organisations operate by reducing risk within fraud and claims leakage, loan origination and other areas where fast-pasted decision automation is key to success.  Our AI decisioning solutions are critical in today's dynamic business environments because they can reduce IT costs, accelerate change cycles, improve decision-making processes, and provide a competitive advantage. In an increasingly digital world, agility and efficiency are essential for businesses to thrive. AI decisioning solutions are essential tools that can help businesses achieve these goals,” said Solentive CEO Rebecca Swinfield.
