SCA's Hit Radio Network is announced as the new Radio Partner for Woolworths Carols in the Domain

Australia’s largest annual Christmas event, the iconic Woolworths Carols in the Domain, has announced that SCA (Southern Cross Austereo) will be its Official Radio Partner.

SCA will get behind the event, including 2DayFM in Sydney, Hit 106.9 in Newcastle and Hit 101.3 Central Coast as well as its vast national radio network. The newly announced partnership also includes Santa Radio on the LiSTNR app.

“We’re so excited to be partnering with Woolworths Carols in the Domain for the next three years,” said Ryan Tothill, 2DayFM Content Director. “To be part of the most iconic Australian Christmas event celebrating the best time of the year is something we know our listeners will love as much as we do.”

2DayFM will also launch a special “Carols Staycation” competition to celebrate the new partnership and SCA’s popular entertainment reporter Justin Hill will take up a prime position on the Carols Red Carpet, interviewing all the stars and celebrities before the big event.

Carols long standing executive producer, Michael McKay, said: “Getting the support of a truly national radio partner was really important to us because our broadcast on Channel 7 goes right across Australia and our fans are spread right across the country.”

A recent survey showed 47% of Carols-goers come from outside a 50km radius of the Sydney CBD, including those from interstate and even overseas.

Share the magic of Christmas at the 41st Woolworths Carols in the Domain in Sydney on Saturday, December 16, 2023. Tickets are on sale now.
