Breast Cancer Support Arrives in Mission Beach

Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA) – Australia’s leading breast cancer consumer organisation – will be in Mission Beach tomorrow for its popular information forum, supporting locals affected by breast cancer.

BCNA’s Living Well Information Forum will cover a range of topics including current and emerging treatments, strategies to enhance physical, sexual, and emotional wellbeing, the role of allied health, and living well during treatment and beyond. 

It will also give attendees the opportunity to connect, network, share lived experiences, and understand what support and resources are available both locally and through BCNA.

Media are invited to come along between 9.00 am – 3.00 pm to cover the event.

Breakthrough in the hunt for broad-spectrum malaria therapy

Scientists at La Trobe University have discovered a new antibody-like molecule which could be used in therapy to prevent infection from multiple malaria parasite species.
