#BringThemHome Pram Installation

Zionism Victoria, Habayit and United With Israel are outraged by the silence of the global community with regard to the over two hundred people who were taken hostage by Hamas. Among those are thirty children who were also abducted.

There will be an installation of support of the Global #BringThemHome Campaign, this will feature Israeli-Melburnian parents, both male and female, who will walk together in silence with empty prams. On each pram seat there will be a photograph of one of the thirty kidnapped children that are still being held by terrorists in Gaza. These installations are unique to Melbourne.

They will take place on Friday 27th October at 12pm on the steps of Parliament and will be repeated on Sunday 29th October at 11am at Caulfield Park, on the corner of Hawthorn Road and Balaclava Road.

The purpose of these installations is to reach the hearts of all parents, because to parents there is no such thing as other peoples’ children. No one wants to experience waiting with an empty pram.

We hope that by putting together these installations, the wider community will proudly and loudly stand with Israel and help us in our mission to bring them home.

Act for Kids

1 in 3 parents struggle to afford kids’ school basics

School uniforms and access to home internet are just some of the essentials children face going without as cost-of-living pressures add an extra layer of stress to back-to-school preparations. Research from national child protection organisation Act for Kids has revealed almost one in three Australians (30%) struggle to pay for their children’s basic educational needs, including uniforms, stationery, books, excursions and school fees. The Act for Kids survey of almost 1000 Australian parents also found more than quarter (27%) reported difficulty affording internet at home. And 40% of Aussies said they were battling to pay for extracurricular activities important to…
