In line with the objectives of the Defence Strategic Review and pending Government and Parliamentary approvals, a delivery phase consisting of upgrades to buildings, services and infrastructure is expected to follow, with an estimated value of between $500 million and $750 million.

Our team will give priority to maximising the opportunities for local community, industry and Indigenous participation during this and future phases.”

AWU backs PM’s pivot to more muscular policy to defend Australian industry

The Australian Workers’ Union has commended the Albanese Government for recognising that Australia needs to pivot to a more muscular and independent approach to industry support, in the wake of Donald Trump’s ‘Liberation Day’ tariffs.
