Is Islam compatible with Western values? Adelaide Mosque hosts Open Day to answer questions

Adelaide’s largest mosque, Mahmood Mosque, will be hosting its Open Day on Saturday 7th October 2023, wherein members of the public are invited to come and ask any questions they may have on Islam and its teachings. The day will also feature guided Mosque tours including a demonstration of the Islamic call to prayer (Adhan) and the Islamic prayer.

  • Time: 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM
  • Venue: Mahmood Mosque, 6-8 Toogood Avenue, Beverley SA 5009

 

Imam Kamran Tahir stated:

“We are hosting an Open Mosque Day to answer all questions that members of the community may have on Islam and its teachings. We invite all interested community members to attend this Open Mosque Day to have these questions answered firsthand by Muslims.”
