Pinnacle Minerals (ASX: PIM) Field Team Mobilises to Adina East Lithium Project

Pinnacle Minerals Ltd (ASX: PIM) 2 mins read

HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Fieldwork at the Adina East Lithium Project (the “Project”) is set to commence before the end of October.
  • Quebec Based Geological Consultants, IOS Services Géoscientifiques inc. (IOS), have mobilised to Mirage Outfitters in James Bay, gearing up for the project’s inaugural exploration program.
  • The primary objective of the fieldwork, which includes mapping and collecting rock chips, is to identify potential LCT pegmatites and spodumene mineralisation.
  • A dedicated four-person geological team will follow up on:
    • Mapped pegmatite occurrences (Ministère des Ressources naturelles et des Forêts).
    • Targets generated by Sentinel 2 and Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR).
  • Spodumene-bearing pegmatite dykes, discovered by Loyal Lithium Limited (LLI.ASX), are situated just 6km west from the project's border, sharing a similar geological setting with the Adina East Project.
  • The geology and structural settings are promising for potential lithium and gold discoveries.

Pinnacle Minerals Ltd (ASX: PIM) (“Pinnacle”, the “Company”) is excited to announce the mobilisation of the field team from Quebec-based geological consultants, IOS, to Mirage Outfitters. This move marks the preparation for the inaugural exploration program at the Adina East Project located in James Bay, Quebec.

The Company anticipates that the team will commence field reconnaissance work before the conclusion of the current field season. The primary objective of this fieldwork is to identify potential LCT pegmatites and spodumene mineralisation. This will be achieved by following up on historically mapped pegmatite outcrops and a series of lithium targets, which have been identified through a comprehensive analysis of detailed satellite and radar imagery (refer to Figure 1).

Pinnacle is optimistic about the potential findings from this exploration and expects to share updates from the field in November. Additionally, any assays from this exploration will be contingent on lab availability and are projected to be released in Q4 2023.

For further information and detailed updates, stakeholders and interested parties are encouraged to stay tuned to the Company's official channels.

Pinnacle Minerals Managing Director, Nic Matich, commented:

“Pinnacle has secured the services of respected Geological Consulting Group IOS Services Géoscientifiques to conduct first pass exploration (“prospecting”) at the recently acquired6 Adina East Lithium Project. Having the crew mobilised on site one (1) day after announcing the acquisition highlights the Company’s intent to maximise shareholder value through prompt and targeted exploration.”
