BACKGROUND

  • Friday July 14th, the Sunshine Coast Jet Centre hosted the Planes, Trains and Automobiles launch event, a very special charity event and cocktail party in honour of the launch of the Noosa Concours d' Elegance, which took place the following day.
  • The festivities featured an awe-inspiring flying performance by Red Bull Air Race Australian Champion, Matt Hall.
  • During the evening guests enjoyed fine food and beverages, musical entertainment, fascinating displays as well as distinguished prizes, raffle, and auction items for discerning travel enthusiasts.  Auction items included a Kokomo Cruise in Sydney generously donated by BCNA’s partner the Manildra Group and a trip for two in a Flight Options Citation Business Jet donated by the Sunshine Coast Jet Centre, including 3 nights accommodation donated by InterContinental Hayman Island Resort.
  • The event was attended by BCNA CEO Kirsten Pilatti, Director of Fundraising and Marketing Sandra Robertson and Australian sporting icon Raelene Boyle AM, MBE.
  • Sunshine Coast Jet Centre could not have achieved such an outstanding result from their event without the generosity of sponsors; Alliance Airlines, Flight Options Charter, Viva Energy Australia, Angle Auto Finance, InterContinental Hayman Island Resort, Eden Health Retreat, Sofitel Noosa Pacific Resort, Manildra Group, Norton White,  Priest Jewellers, Bonville Golf Resort, The G Gallery Noosa, Orlebar Brown and Dassault Aircraft and all the guests who attended this very special evening.
  • The Sunshine Coast Jet Centre, powered by Flight Options, provides charter, business jet, and VIP aviation services at the Sunshine Coast Airport. It is currently planning new facilities to provide for improved terminal, hangarage, and aircraft services for its customers.

Raelene Boyle AM, MBE

Raelene Boyle is an Australian sporting icon. Her athletic achievements are endless. She's also a survivor of breast and ovarian cancer and a founding board member for Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA). Stepping down from the board in 2022, her commitment to BCNA and helping Australians affected by breast cancer has been unwavering for more than 25 years. In fact, Raels, as we affectionately call her at BCNA has often said that her work in advocacy means more to her than all her sporting medals and accolades.

Media MUST RSVP via email to [email protected] for Airport Security clearance.

Please let us know if you plan to attend, and if you require anything further for your story, please contact our media team to coordinate this for you.
