Residents in the Camden community of all ages are invited to take part in an inclusive sports gala day for people with disability on Thursday 12 October at Cunningham park, Gregory Hills.
Gregory Hills, 12 October 2023, 10:30am – 2:30pm. Ready, Set, Run! An inclusive sports gala day for the Camden community is an event created by Northcott and supported by the Camden council.
People with disability of all ages are invited to join in this fun event where sports and athletics will be adapted to suit people of all abilities.
The activities that will take place include Wheelchair Rugby League, a fitness program lead by a personal trainer, soccer, football, fun games and a colour run/ obstacle course.
Northcott will also have a stall where people can offer a gold coin donation for a sausage sizzle, popcorn, fairy floss, slushies, and sweets. Funds raised will go towards our Life Skills concert which features performances from Northcott customers who access our Life Skills service in Campbelltown and Casula.
Over 100 people have registered to attend so far, with additional members of the Camden community welcome to turn up on the day.
