Adelaide’s largest mosque, Mahmood Mosque, will be hosting its Open Day on Saturday 7th October 2023, wherein members of the public are invited to come and ask any questions they may have on Islam and its teachings. The day will also feature guided Mosque tours including a demonstration of the Islamic call to prayer (Adhan) and the Islamic prayer.

Imam Kamran Tahir stated:

“We are hosting an Open Mosque Day to answer all questions that members of the community may have on Islam and its teachings, including the teachings of the Holy Quran. We invite all interested community members to attend this Open Mosque Day to have their questions answered firsthand by Muslims.”

The Joint Committee of Public Accounts and Audit has released its report on its inquiry into Sport Integrity Australia’s (SIA) management of Australia’s National Anti-Doping Scheme.
