Celebrate the season and rock your weekend at Light Up Corowa & Rock on the River – December 1st and 2nd

Federation Council Present ‘Light Up Corowa’ and ‘Rock on the River’ as part of North Of The Murray Event Series | Friday 1st & Saturday 2nd December 2023

 

Get ready to kick off the festive season in style with a weekend of entertainment and fun as the Federation Council hosts Light Up Corowa and Rock On The River. 

 

WHAT:

Friday 1st December Corowa will ‘Light Up’ with a dazzling lighting display in Sanger Street and a Neon Christmas themed wonderland in Bangerang Park. 

 

Join in the season’s celebrations with the Light Up Corowa Christmas Carols concert hosted by MC and entertainer Steve Bowen. Joining him on stage will be choirs from Sing Australia, St Mary’s Primary School and Corowa South Primary School for renditions of all your favourite Christmas carols. Grab a bite to eat and pursue the Christmas markets for that perfect gift from 5pm. This will be a community celebration that fills your heart with warmth and wonder! 

 

The following evening Corowa will rock out with the free riverside concert, Rock On The River. Featuring phenomenal live Aussie music from Benny Walker, Joe Mungovan, Cherry Chain, Mt Maze, Pixie and Toby Mobbs. Bring your friends, family and a picnic blanket to chill out by the river as the sun sets. Food stalls will be open all night long.

 

Wrapping up the weekend festivities will be the monthly Rotary market on Sunday where you can find new treasures and special gifts from the community's most loved market.

 

All events are all ages and free to the public.
