Media Release on the #BringThemHome Balloons of Hope Installation at Federation Square today

Media are advised that on Wednesday 1st November at 11am – 3pm at Federation Square, Melbourne, there will be an installation in support of the Global #BringThemHome Campaign. 


This will feature two-hundred and thirty red balloons, two-hundred and thirty pairs of shoes and two-hundred and thirty faces of the hostages still in captivity. There will also be four white balloons representing the hostages that have been released. State and Federal Politicians will be attending the event at 1pm, to say a few words. 


Yossi Goldfarb - President of Zionism Victoria said, “these balloons are a beacon of hope, and we hope that all of the red balloons featured will be replaced with white balloons. Representing all the hostages being released. We hope that by creating this installation, the wider community will join us in our determination to bring our hostages home.”
