City to welcome a new, world-class entertainment destination at Northshore for a fabulous and feathery seven year stay

Get ready to be feathered and flocked when the flamboyant, frivolous, feisty, famous and fabulous, The Pink Flamingo Spiegeland opens at Brisbane’s Northshore on December 16.

“Soaring out of the success of The Pink Flamingo Spiegelclub Gold Coast, we are creating an all-new, custom-designed, world-class entertainment destination called The Pink Flamingo Spiegeland BRISBANE at Northshore with a spectacular and permanent 400-seat, purpose-built Spiegel Pavilion plus food and beverage offerings and incredible precinct theming,” said co-director Tony Rigas who together with Sue Porrett and Peter Snee are the visionaries behind Spiegeland.

“After the enormous success of the Gold Coast, we knew an expansion was always on the cards. With Brisbane evolving into a truly international destination, the city was the natural choice for us, and Northshore the perfect destination for the first Pink Flamingo Spiegeland to flock on in!”

It’s the perfect festive season celebration and is here to stay!

The Pink Flamingo Spiegeland will create 150 jobs across the theatre and hospitality sector in Brisbane and will be home to three incredible resident productions in SUAVÉ, LA TEAZE and RIPPED, with eight performances each week, paired with crafted cocktails, and full bars and food offerings, all in a venue oozing enough glamour to befit a Gatsby bash.

The Pink Flamingo Spiegeland BRISBANE open on Saturday 16 December with ALL TICKETS on sale now at PinkFlamingoAustralia.com or by calling the box office on 1800 BUYNOW.

Co-director Sue Porrett said it was absolutely time that Brisbane had a permanent, custom-designed entertainment venue that was as fabulous and as flamboyant, as it was functional and fully equipped.

“Why should Brisbane wait for festivals to experience a glitter-bomb of shows, kaleidoscopes of colour on stage, and limit-pushing performances of a world standard? The city shouldn’t, and that’s why we are so thrilled to open The Pink Flamingo Spiegeland BRISBANE in November,” said Sue.

“Expect world class international acrobats and specialty acts, side splitting comedy, a chorus line of stunning showgirls and vocals all wrapped up and garnished with The Pink Flamingo twist.”

“This is our invitation for Brisbane to expect the unexpected, and immerse in our wonderful, wild world!  All I can say is, once you have seen a show at The Pink Flamingo … you will be back for more!”

Inspired by the original 1920s Spiegeltent and the NYC Cabaret Club district, The Pink Flamingo Spiegelclub on the Gold Coast opened its famous pink doors four years ago as the first of its’ kind in the world - a luxury custom-designed entertainment destination, with a purpose-built theatre for multi-use experiences like cabaret, burlesque, comedy, acrobatics, drag and more. The swanky art-deco décor features luxurious pink velvet and gold seating over two levels. It’s Brisbane sister will be just as uber-cool and luxe.

In addition, The Pink Flamingo Spiegeland BRISBANE will become the hottest event hub in Brisbane, ready to host a multitude of private bookings and special events, including hens and bucks parties, weddings, Christmas parties and celebrations of all hues!

The Pink Flamingo Spiegeland BRISBANE’s seven year stay will make way for the Media Village for the 2032 Olympic Games.
