The “Avocado industry and market data capture and analysis” project (AV20000) came to an end this year and the Facts at a Glance report was the culmination of three years of data collection and analysis. This Hort Innovation funded project delivered high quality industry data to the Australian avocado supply chain, to support businesses in their decision making. A new five-year project, led by Avocados Australia, started this year and builds on the success of the AV20000 project.

The new project (AV22016)

John Tyas, Avocados Australia’s CEO and the project leader, says that the new project will continue to provide quality reporting for the Australian avocado industry and the reporting enhancements will further benefit the industry.

The “Avocado industry and market data capture and analysis” project is an important investment that will continue to maintain our essential range of reporting systems and the enhanced export retail price reporting and domestic wholesale price reporting will further benefit industry members’ decision making,” said John Tyas, CEO of Avocados Australia.

Avocados Australia is committed to increasing avocado exports and the project will also continue to provide Global trade data analysis.
