HP is leading the charge in Hybrid Large Format Production, celebrating a key milestone of selling over 100 Latex R Series printers in Australia and New Zealand.

The Latex R Series printers set the standard for the industry, with the International Data Corporation labeling HP as the number one leader in the market for Hybrid Flatbed printers.

The HP Latex R Series printers are the only true hybrid solution that are equally strong in both rigid and flexible, with the Latex Printing Technology delivering breakthrough innovation for the glossiest whites and most vibrant colours.

HP Latex continues to lead the change in sustainable signage printing, with the newest Latex Technology carrying a broad set of credentials addressing the full spectrum of environmental concerns; from ink chemistry and indoor air quality—for both print production and display—to lifecycle considerations, earning recognition for products as environmentally preferred overall.

Peter Baily, Director of Bailey Print Group said: “The R Series 2000 has been a breakthrough addition to our printer lineup that complements our existing three roll to roll wide format HP Latex printers. This printer offers speed, precision, and eco-friendliness, all in one package. It's been a game-changer for our businesses, making a positive impact on both our bottom line and the environment. This printer offers a perfect balance of quality, efficiency, and sustainability.”

Coinciding with this sales milestone is the 15th anniversary of HP’s Latex Printing Technology which transformed the large format industry by opening up a world of opportunity that empowered creativity. The technology continues to transcend and meet the growing needs of HP’s customers.

Craig Hardman, ANZ Large Format Country Manager at HP said: “HP is excited to celebrate 15 years of Latex large format printing and the many milestones in the development of these leading print industry solutions. We are proud of our commitment to sustainability through championing the use of water-based inks, reducing waste and minimising the environmental impact of the printing process. We continue to celebrate the transformation of HP Latex into our 4th generation of Latex ink with many print solutions in the 3.2m L2700 Series, Hybrid R Series and recently in the HP L630 Series of HP Latex printers.”
