IMAGINATOR BRISBANE – HERE FOR ALL YOUR HOLIDAY INSPO!

Imaginator Brisbane 3 mins read

Calling Brisbane’s curious to feed the imagination in a place of light, sound and wonder – only ‘til January 31

Imagery & vision HERE

Yes it’s a bit of a tongue twister, but wait and see what it does to your mind when you arrive!  IMAGINATOR BRISBANE is a stunning immersive play experience based at South Bank that combines audio-visual art, mind-bending light installations, futuristic gaming and inflatable architecture – and yes, it’s incredibly insta-worthy, brilliant for all ages and perfect for the holidays. PS it’s air conditioned!

IMAGINATOR is where technology and imagination collide and the result is a super-fun experience that’s highly engaging and entertaining – for the best child friendly must dos, the best insta-moments and even the best mediation spots, see over page!

It’s based in a purpose-built playground underneath the Goodwill Bridge, next to the Queensland Maritime Museum at the top end of South Bank and adventurers only have until January 31 to experience it before it closes (watch this space for the next Queensland location)!

The immersive experience features 10 jaw-dropping rooms – eight of which are brand-new and exclusive to Brisbane – that bring together the creative talents of architects, authors, audio-visual artists, future-thinkers, renderers and sound designers.

Creative Director Nick Ennis said the experience was like being in a kaleidoscope of light, sound and wonder.

IMAGINATOR builds a constant sense of anticipation. Each room is slowly revealed as you move through the space and a different atmosphere and mood is presented.  You can play, chill, explore and engage at your own pace. There are chairs and lounges throughout the experience to encourage lingering when the moment feels right,” he said.

“Step inside, slip off your shoes and engage with AI projections, sensor-triggered LED waves, giant silk parachute canopies, cosmic gardens, an anti-gravity sunset, an electronic hall of mirrors and a digital wishing well that whispers your greatest desires. Explore the multi-sensory and interactive play space at your leisure with the experience taking anywhere from a 15-minute walkthrough to an hour-long immersion.”

IMAGINATOR is a celebration of imagination, technology and immersive play and it’s something the whole family can do together, or … it’s the coolest date experience around!”
