BizCover celebrates small business underdogs in new business insurance campaign inspired by the Australian Open

BizCover 2 mins read

BizCover, Australia's leading online small business insurance service, has launched a new marketing campaign to coincide with the Australian Open.

Well known for their unwavering support of small to medium businesses, BizCover is sponsoring several up-and-coming tennis players at the tennis tournament in Melbourne. The goal of this initiative is to support and encourage overlooked players as they prepare for their big break, aligning with BizCover’s similar commitment to champion and support all small business underdogs.

Considering themselves as underdogs in the insurance industry, the campaign aims to prove how smaller brands with limited marketing budgets can aim big and grow their market presence. The marketing activity will feature across streaming services (BVOD), social media, and display.

The business insurance campaign was designed to be different, a departure from traditional insurance marketing. It shows a hilarious tennis match between BizCover employees and a professional tennis coach, signalling the company's tech-driven and innovative approach to business insurance while highlighting the importance of cover when operating your small business. After all, BizCover may not be tennis experts, but they ace at business insurance.

"At BizCover, we support and believe in the power of small businesses. The campaign aims to make business insurance more entertaining and approachable for all small business owners in Australia starting the year and shop around, compare policies and find savings,” said Sharon Kenny, Head of Marketing at BizCover.
