CIMIC’s Broad Construction selected for new Notre Dame College in Queensland

CIMIC Group’s Broad Construction has been selected to deliver Brisbane Catholic Education’s new Notre Dame College at Bells Creek on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland.

Stage one of the project will open in term one of 2025, welcoming Prep to Year Three, and Year Seven students. Broad Construction will deliver five state-of-the-art buildings, including an administration building, various learning spaces, sports courts, a workshop, and landscaping.

CIMIC Group Executive Chairman Juan Santamaria said: “Broad Construction is experienced in safely building complex projects and will draw on the experience and skills gained from delivering award-winning educational facilities across Australia. We are pleased to be selected to deliver a vibrant new learning and recreational space to inspire and educate children from the Bells Creek community.”

Broad Construction General Manager Cyril Cahill said: “Our local project team are specialists in delivering world-class educational facilities and we are proud to be working with Brisbane Catholic Education to safely construct this exciting new school for Queensland. This new campus will focus on providing indoor and outdoor spaces that are inclusive and accessible to all, and we look forward to bringing our expertise to deliver stage one of Notre Dame College, on budget and to a high quality.”

Early works have now commenced on the new facility and is scheduled for completion in Q1 2025.
