Bennett PR 2 mins read

The GABS Hottest 100 Aussie Craft Beers Results will be announced soon!

Likened to the Melbourne Cup for craft beer, the GABS Hottest 100 Countdown is a day for celebration. It’s the day that the much-anticipated results are announced after weeks of brewer polling and consumer voting. Craft enthusiasts will gather to witness the favourites of the year emerge until finally, the unveiling of the best in the brew.

This year’s campaigns have been more engaging than ever before, proving the creativity of brewers extends far beyond the mere act of brewing beer! With votes now in, it’s over to the auditors and all will be revealed on Saturday, January 27th.

Where will you be when the results are announced? Host your own mini countdown party at home, get down to an official host or if you’re in Sydney, head down to First Choice Liquor Market Ashfield. That’s where the Hottest 100 live podcast will be recording, brought to you by First Choice Liquor Market and hosted by renowned industry personality, Matt Kirkegaard.

Head of First Choice Liquor Market, Michael Bornholdt encouraged everyone to get behind the GABS Hottest 100 by joining a countdown party or the official event at First Choice Liquor Market in Ashfield.

“It’s great to once again be getting behind the GABS Hottest 100 Countdown as the platinum partner. Now one of the biggest dates on the beer calendar, the event does an excellent job of showcasing some of the country’s finest craft beers and getting people to celebrate the best in the business.

“For those in Sydney, we’re hosting the live broadcast at First Choice Liquor Market in Ashfield. We’d love for you to join us at the free event where they’ll be a pop-up beer garden, food truck, games arena, in-store tastings and stacks of giveaways.”
