AIPA < 1 mins read

Quotes attributable to AIPA President Tony Lucas:

"The Australian and International Pilots Association notes the appointment of John Mullen as Qantas chair elect.

“Mr Mullen has a large challenge ahead of him. We trust he will embrace the opportunity to work with CEO Vanessa Hudson to bring about the cultural change she has promised.

“This process should involve working constructively and collaboratively with the frontline staff to make sure that together we can restore the "Spirit of Australia" to the national carrier.

“We look forward to greater accountability at the board level for decisions which affect the travelling public and dedicated Qantas staff.

“Mr Mullen, the new board and the Qantas management team owe it to all Australians to restore Qantas to the brand that makes us all proud.”
