MEDIA ALERT: Head of SafeWork NSW Trent Curtin to address the media following the halfway point SafeWork’s ‘Working at Heights in Construction’ blitz.

In May 2023, SafeWork NSW commenced its 12-month ‘Working at Heights in Construction’ blitz, following a concerning rise in the number of serious injuries and deaths attributed to falls from heights, resulting in 17 people killed between 2018 and 2022.   

During the blitz, SafeWork NSW has issued more than $900,000 in fines.  

Head of SafeWork NSW, Trent Curtin, will be available at a construction site for comment this morning.
