Schneider Electic 2 mins read

Schneider Electric, a leader in the digital transformation of energy management and automation, has signed an agreement to appoint Remtron, a leader in the supply of automation, process control, and IT-related products, as the sole Certified Industrial Automation Distributor for Schneider Electric in Australia.

Schneider Electric’s Certified Industrial Automation Distributor (IAD) program has been created to develop and empower expert industrial automation distributors to become specialist transformation partners.

With its deep expertise as an industrial distributor, Remtron has become an extension of Schneider Electric’s industrial automation business in Australia. Remtron will autonomously own end-to-end demand creation, fulfilment and deliver value-add to Schneider Electric’s customers.

Through Remtron’s premier access to Schneider Electric’s industrial automation, power products, and final distribution technologies, its core focus will be to drive growth in the Industrial project business. This new and innovative distributor model will enable more Schneider Electric customers to receive high-level specialist support for industrial projects across Australia, including remote and regional areas.

“Remtron's established network and customer-centric approach make it the ideal partner to bring Schneider Electric’s top-tier automation solutions closer to our customers, empowering them to unlock new levels of competitiveness and growth,” said Carlos Urbano, Vice President of Industry, Pacific Zone at Schneider Electric.

“We're thrilled to embark on this journey with Remtron and witness the transformative impact it will have on our customers' operations. By partnering with Remtron, we're significantly extending our reach and ensuring that even more businesses across Australia can leverage the power of Schneider Electric's innovative products and services,” added Urbano.

We have the expertise, coverage, initiative – and the superior technology solutions – to ensure Remtron’s success in solving complex problems for industrial organisations,” said Adrian Matthews, Managing Director of Remtron.
