THE CLUB 4X4 INSURANCE SHOW N SHINE CONTEST SET TO UNVEIL A SPECTACLE OF OFF-ROAD EXCELLENCE

National 4x4 Outdoors Show 3 mins read

The highly anticipated annual Club 4x4 Insurance Show N Shine is set to make a triumphant return to the Brisbane Showgrounds, captivating audiences with a display of off-road prowess and automotive innovation, as part of the National 4x4 Outdoors Show from 15-17 March.

The Show N Shine competition stands as the ultimate gathering for enthusiasts, manufacturers, and adventurers, celebrating the spirit of exploration and the thrill of off-road adventure.

From rugged terrain conquering machines to custom built rigs that push the boundaries of engineering; a diverse array of new and old school 4x4 vehicles will take centre stage and battle it out to win a $4,000 Opposite Lock voucher and a $4,000 TWD 4x4 voucher, trophies and the coveted bragging rights in the two core categories.

This year's Show N Shine will highlight the best of the Rough & Tumble entries, placing emphasis on functionality and off-road capabilities. Simultaneously, the Terrific Tourer class will be judged on both on and off-road capabilities, towing, fuel efficiency, rapid deployment at destinations, and long-haul reliability. Both categories are further divided into pre and post-1998 subcategories, adding an extra layer of excitement to the competition.

Even for those unfamiliar with 4WD vehicles, the Show N Shine provides a unique opportunity to appreciate the craftsmanship and dedication invested in these impressive machines. Attendees can engage with owners, capture photographs, listen to tales of build experiences, lessons learned, and embark on thrilling adventures. The event may even serve as inspiration for attendees to initiate their own builds in preparation for next year's competition.

The call for entries is now open, and enthusiasts can submit their applications for free online at https://4x4show.com.au/Brisbane/whats-on/show-n-shine until the end of February.

Successful shortlisted applicants will receive two complimentary tickets and premium parking within the show on either Saturday or Sunday, placing them in the spotlight at Australia's premier outdoor lifestyle exhibition.

But the excitement doesn’t stop there! In addition to the jaw-dropping vehicle displays, the National 4x4 Outdoors Show will once again feature thrilling off-road demonstrations from the Motorama Team, while the experienced 4WD Queensland team will offer spectators insights into vehicle recovery techniques over at the Proving Ground.

Serving as a platform for Australia's leading off-roading personalities, the Outback stage will feature 4WD 24/7 hosts Shaun and Graham, Pat Callinan, Matt Baker from The Explore Life, Jase Andrews from All 4 Adventure, Brianna & Bridget from Red Dirt Diary, and Tyler Thompson.

Black Snake Productions will take centre stage, presenting informative and hands-on shows, offering attendees the chance to get up close and personal with Australia's unique native animals.

Following its successful launch at the Sydney and Melbourne shows last year, Mount Maxxis will make its presence felt in Brisbane, featuring driving demonstrations by MadMatt to equip attendees with the skills and confidence to explore challenging terrains.

For thrill-seekers and those looking to get in on the action, the Isuzu Iron Summit will showcase an Isuzu MU-X climbing a 45-degree incline, leveling off, and then descending at a 45-degree angle – a fusion of carnival thrill ride and performance test.

From an entertainment and refreshments perspective, the Outback Bar will host live music from Melbourne Country-Rock crooner Cush Ryder, offering a refreshing break before diving back into exploring the top products and deals. While Alex Laneway, the dedicated food truck alley, will cater to culinary cravings.

With free entry for kids under 16, the Kids Zone managed by Physi Kids ensures continuous entertainment for the younger audience.

To avoid the queues, ticket sales will continue to be available exclusively online, with single day tickets purchased prior to the show beginning on March 15, attracting a 15% discount using code: CATCHYA.

Two-day and three-day passes are also available, with children under 16 years admitted free, by pre-registration.

The National 4x4 Outdoors show is an event not to be missed. Get all the gear, advice and inspiration you need to ensure your next getaway is a great success.
