Brisbane Dog and Cat Lovers Festival

Brisbane’s favourite dog-dedicated festival returns for the first time in six years to the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre, alongside the inaugural Cat Lovers Festival running side-by-side for the very first time!

“We are so excited to be back in Brisbane with not one, but two epic festivals in one co-located event. With a star-studded line-up of talent appearing at both Festivals, we have no doubt that Queensland canine and feline lovers will relish the opportunity to unite for one weekend to celebrate our tail-wagging best buddies! The weekend is all about celebrating these wonderful companions, getting trusted insights on how to be the best pet parent we can be, and of course sniffing out all the latest & greatest stuff to spoil our pets”, said Festival Founder, Jason Humphris.

As the presenting human at both festivals, beloved TV Vet Dr. Claire Stevens is a true animal advocate, unifying the age-old debate of ‘cats vs dogs’ and she will present illuminating talks each day on the Advance (Dog) and Whiskas (Cat) stages on how to keep your furry friends safe and stress-free.

Beloved larrikin Ryan Gallagher will make his Dog Lovers Festival debut as the MC of the jaw-dropping Antinol® DockDogs. Dog behaviourist and host of Pooches At Play Lara Shannon returns to the festival line-up, co-hosting Temptation Alley with Farmer Dave Graham and interviewing our four-legged social media influencers for the Insta-Pooch runway. For the feline fans, Jackson Galaxy aka America’s “Cat Daddy” will stream live from the USA onto the WHISKAS® Stage big screen to speak about ‘Catification’ in your home.

Over 500 delightful dogs, more than 200 beautiful cats and dozens of breeds will warm hearts across the weekend at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre and be showered with love from the most passionate Queensland pet owners.
