Torrens University’s Chief Marketing Officer and head of Industry Partnerships, Darryn Melrose said the collaboration would contribute to the professional development and success of both AIOP members and Torrens University staff and students.

“The reciprocal relationship between Torrens University and AIOP offers both AIOP members, and our staff and students, access to a range of resources, networking opportunities and pathways to education and training that can bolster their career development and progression,” said Mr Melrose.

AIOP members include administrative professionals from entry level to executive management and represent a diverse range of industries and roles which include managers, executive/personal assistants, team leaders, project officers, paralegals and administrative support staff.

AIOP National President Heather Batchelor FAIOP said the collaboration would give our members an additional pathway to education and that they looked forward to welcoming Torrens University staff and students into the association.

“Our aim is to raise the profile of the profession across the business community, accelerating the professional and personal development of our members,” said Ms Batchelor.

The review is due to deliver a draft report to government before January 31, 2025. The draft report will contain preliminary findings and recommendations and stakeholders will be given the opportunity to provide further submissions. A final report…

Staff lose confidence in ANU boss after more shocking revelations

The National Tertiary Education Union says staff have lost confidence in Australian National University Vice-Chancellor Genevieve Bell after the latest revelations about her leadership. The fresh revelations came after 88 per cent of staff voted against Professor Bell’s proposal for staff to give up an already-agreed…
