AREVO APP LAUNCHES ALERTS TO HELP VICTORIANS FIND THE CHEAPEST FUEL NEAR THEM

RACV 2 mins read

The award-winning arevo by RACV app has introduced a new tool in the hunt for savings at the fuel bowser, with fuel price notifications now available to users.

Arevo users can enable new personalised fuel alerts to send automatic notifications, helping them to know the better time and place to save money.

The arevo fuel alerts will show if prices are on the rise or fall, as well as where to find the cheapest fuel, listing the station’s name, location and exact distance away from the user’s home or preferred location.

RACV General Manager Mobility Julia Hunter said arevo’s new fuel alerts would make it even easier for Victorians to find better prices and help motorists save.

“The arevo fuel alerts are a really exciting innovation that will actively work to save users time and effort finding cheaper fuel options,” Ms Hunter said.

“If, like many people, you only think about fuel prices when your petrol tank is close to empty, arevo will now be able to prompt you on the better time and location to fill up. If you’ve downloaded arevo, you will have the opportunity to locate some of the lowest prices for fuel in your area.

“The average Victorian can save just by comparing fuel prices before filling up – arevo now does that comparison work for you at a time when every cent counts.”

Arevo’s fuel finder map is refreshed with live pricing every 15 minutes and includes all major fuel stations.
“In addition to guiding users towards better fuel prices in their area, arevo can also further reduce costs by helping people plan routes with alternative modes of transport, such as bikes and public transport.”

The arevo by RACV app is available to download for free on Apple App Store and Google play.
