Brisbane Muslims call for unity as part of global campaign “Voices for Peace”

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Brisbane will unite public at a special event titled “Voices for Peace” on Saturday 9th March 2024 at Mubarak Mosque. Over the past few months, over 30,000 Israelis and Palestinians, including women, children and the elderly have been killed or injured because of senseless violence and bloodshed. The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community has launched a global "Voices for Peace" campaign to end the present conflict in Gaza and establish peace.

The Worldwide Head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, His Holiness, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad has stated:

“Justice and equity are of paramount importance in achieving lasting and sustainable peace. Thus, all the major powers must focus on establishing long-term and sustainable peace based upon the principles of fairness and true justice.”

The event aims to unite and draw the attention of public and leaders at all levels to the urgent need to de-escalate the conflict and establish peace before this conflict escalates even further.
