Monday, 4th March 2024, Melbourne: Iconic Australian supermodel, Elle Macpherson, has made her triumphant return to the catwalk tonight, walking in the PayPal Runway to kick off the PayPal Melbourne Fashion Festival premium runway series for 2024.

The extraordinary event saw Elle Macpherson strut the runway for the first time in almost 15 years, wearing beloved Australian brands Viktoria & Woods, Aje, and Bianca Spender, which have all achieved international success, akin to Elle’s own impact on the global fashion industry.

Senior Director of Consumer Engagement at PayPal, Shane Capron, said “Elle was fabulous – so excited that we were able to bring her back to the catwalk for the PayPal Runway on the eve of her 60th birthday. What an Australian icon! Such an inspiration.

“This year the PayPal runway is all about celebrating the success of Australian fashion brands that have achieved success on the global stage – just like Elle. Not only is Elle an Australian who became a world-famous supermodel, she is also an incredible businesswoman who has launched globally successful brands.”
