Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Perth is ready to welcome 100s of guests this Sunday 24th March 2024 at their state's largest Nasir Mosque. The event will be an intimate evening with conversations around many important contemporary topics, especially peace and an opportunity to break fast together during the holy month of Ramadhan at the dinner.

The event is very popular as it brings together various local community leaders, politicians and religious leaders of major religions all in an effort to encourage more dialogue, and interfaith harmony while emphasising mutual respect and tolerance.

As we see growing global conflicts and increasing tensions in the world many feel uncertain about the future. In this climate, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Perth is hoping to further accelerate efforts towards meaningful action to promote peace. As such, the initiative aims to bring people from all walks of life together, transcending religious and political differences, in a display of solidarity during the holy month of Ramadan. The president of Ahmadiyya Muslim Community WA, Mr Anjum Qaisrani believes that "fostering stronger community links is crucial, especially during these challenging times, to build bridges and support vulnerable communities worldwide".

Imam Wadood Janud of Nasir Mosque also emphasising its importance said: "In the current global climate, it is more important than ever for everyone to come together and focus on our shared values. Building bridges requires dialogue and understanding, and this Iftar dinner serves as a meaningful step in that direction."
