Game changing Wi-Fi 7 connectivity

TP-Link is proud to be at the forefront of gaming technology with the introduction of Wi-Fi 7, the latest wireless standard. This groundbreaking technology enables a quantum leap in data transfer speeds, reduced latency, and enhanced capacity — essential elements for an immersive and lag-free gaming experience1.

Gamers can look forward to even faster download and upload speeds, thanks to Wi-Fi 7's increased ability to handle gigabit-level data rates1. This translates to quicker game downloads, smoother online gameplay, and faster response times, providing a competitive edge to gaming purists.

Split-second decisions can make all the difference when gaming, which makes Wi-Fi 7 the perfect companion. Designed to reduce latency to the lowest possible levels, it helps minimise the delay between actions and on-screen results.

Enjoy lightning-fast speeds of up to 19 Gbps with the Archer GE800 Tri-Band Wi-Fi 7 gaming router2. Across its three network bands, the Archer GE800 supports up to 11520 Mbps on the 6 GHz band, 5760 Mbps on 5 GHz, and 1376 Mbps on 2.4 GHz3. Whether it’s gaming, streaming 4K videos or downloading large files, this router is designed to power the modern household.

Managing Director at TP-Link Australia and New Zealand, Neville Wang, says that Wi-Fi 7 will provide a massive boost to the gaming community: “We understand that gamers have unique connectivity needs, and with Wi-Fi 7 we are bringing a new era of gaming experiences to Australia. Whether you're a casual gamer or a competitive esports enthusiast, TP-Link's Wi-Fi 7 technology is set to elevate your gaming sessions to unprecedented levels of speed, stability, and responsiveness.”

Jaw-dropping Speed

TP-Link’s Wi-Fi 7 technology introduces 320 MHz ultra-wide bandwidth, 4K-QAM and Multi-RU to provide astounding speeds, and tackle buffering, lag and congestion like never before.

Improved Connection Stability

Making the most of Wi-Fi 7’s 6GHz band, MLO (Multi-Link Operation) can deliver a stable and reliable connection with high throughput, reducing the chances of disconnections or interruptions during critical gaming moments.

Future-Proof Connectivity

Twin 10 Gbps WAN/LAN ports4 and 4× 2.5 Gbps LAN ports support massive bandwidth for wired gaming devices and ultra-fast connections, accommodating all gaming needs.

Quad Acceleration for Games

Accelerate game applications, game devices, mobile games, and game servers. Stabilise connections, and minimise jitter, lag and ping while boosting speed.

Dedicated Gaming Port

A dedicated port automatically prioritises the connected game device, providing optimum bandwidth for fast, smooth game play, no matter how crowded the network.

Exclusive Game Panel

The intuitive game panel provides real-time insights into the battle environment, network status, router performance, RGB settings, accelerated games and gears, enabling players to strategise effectively.

Gaming Acceleration Button

By enabling this button, gamers can lower the ping latency further.

Game-Style Design

High-performance launch pad appearance, seamless multi-colour lighting, and optimised antenna layout ensure quality connections and a vibrant atmosphere.

Advanced Security Features

Recognising the importance of a secure gaming environment, TP-Link HomeShield5 provides advanced security features to help safeguard against potential threats and provide a worry-free gaming experience.

VPN Client and Server Supported

Run VPN and standard internet connections simultaneously, for smooth gaming and private browsing on other devices at the same time.

Game Server Acceleration by GPN

With a shorter path from gamers to game servers, GPN (Gamers Private Network) can decrease game ping and packet loss to deliver the winning edge.

The Archer GE800 BE19000 Tri-Brand Wi-Fi 7 gaming router is RRP $1299 (AUD) and $1499 (NZD), and available from Officeworks, Harvey Norman, The Good Guys, Amazon, Mwave, Scorptec, Umart, Centre Com, PLE Computers, and PB Tech NZ

1. Maximum wireless signal rates are the physical rates derived from IEEE Standard 802.11 specifications. Actual wireless data throughput, wireless coverage, and number of connected devices are not guaranteed and will vary as a result of internet service provider factors, network conditions, client limitations, and environmental factors, including building materials, obstacles, volume and density of traffic, and client location.

2. The 320 MHz bandwidth is only available on the 6 GHz band. Simultaneously, the 320 MHz bandwidth on the 6 GHz band and 160 MHz bandwidth on the 5 GHz band may be unavailable in some regions/countries due to regulatory restrictions. Double channel width and speed refer to 320 MHz compared to 160 MHz for Wi-Fi 6 routers.

3. 19 Gbps Wi-Fi speed refers to the theoretical speeds of Wi-Fi 7 clients when connected to Archer GE800. Wi-Fi 7 clients need to support Multi-Link Operation (MLO) and the 6 GHz band to reach up to 19 Gbps when connected to Archer GE800’s 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz bands simultaneously.

4. 10 Gbps internet speeds require compatible service plans and equipment. The two 10 Gbps ports cannot be concurrently configured as WAN ports.

5. HomeShield includes both basic and advanced features. Advanced features require a paid subscription. For details, visit
