Ahmadiyya Muslim Community < 1 mins read

Adelaide's largest mosque, Mahmood Mosque, will be celebrating Eid-ul-Fitr on Thursday, April 11. The congregational Eid prayer service will be held at 10:30 am at Mahmood Mosque. Around 600 people will join the service. The prayer will be followed by a sermon delivered by Imam Kamran Tahir.

Eid-ul-Fitr is a festival that marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan. This joyous day is celebrated to give thanks for the blessings of Ramadan. Fasting during Ramadan inspires sympathy for the hungry and needy and encourages Muslims to donate generously to the poor.

There will be a media opportunity to capture the way Muslims celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr and explore a wide range of topics, including the spiritual significance of Eid-ul-Fitr, the importance of prayer, and reflection.

It would also provide an opportunity to interview Imam Kamran Tahir.
