Come walk or jog with us in Bendigo. We are in this together!

Dementia Australia 2 mins read

The 2024 Bendigo Memory Walk & Jog is nearly here with the event taking place on Saturday 20 April at the Botanic Gardens.

Dementia Australia’s largest fundraising event hopes to attract thousands of people across Australia to help raise more than $2 million in support of people living with dementia. Funds raised at our upcoming event in Bendigo will help advance the work of Dementia Australia which delivers invaluable support, education and resources for people living with dementia, their families and carers.

Memory Walk & Jog is about being part of the community and feeling supported. We are in this together, which is why participants can walk, jog or run and select from our 3km walk, a 5km walk or jog, or a 10km timed run. Registrations for the Bendigo Memory Walk & Jog are still open and we’d love to see as many people as possible walking, jogging, or running at the Botanic Gardens. It’s a great day out, raising money and awareness for such an important cause.

Dementia Australia spokespeople and a local case study are available for media stories. Please contact Ash Blakemore, Senior Media & Communications Advisor, 0448 170 672, ash.blakemore@dementia.org.au
