Loyal Lithium (ASX:LLI) – Innovative Geophysical Survey to Reveal the Potential Scale of the Trieste Lithium Project, James Bay, Quebec, Canada

Loyal Lithium Limited (ASX:LLI) 2 mins read

Sydney, Australia – Loyal Lithium Limited (ASX:LLI), a North American focused lithium led battery minerals company, is thrilled to unveil plans for an extensive airborne geophysical survey at the Trieste Lithium Project, located in James Bay, Quebec, Canada. Scheduled for June, this high-tech survey aims to underscore the project's significant potential and further delineate its lithium-bearing structures.

This ambitious endeavour will harness the most innovative geophysical technologies, including advanced mobile Magnetotellurics (MTm) with a broad band frequency probe capable of penetrating depths exceeding 600 meters. This state-of-the-art technology is poised to differentiate between the highly resistive rock types present, such as pegmatitic and metamorphic formations, and unveil conductive and contrasting structural features within the project’s 20 km² Metasediment Fault Flow Zone.

The survey’s strategic deployment over known spodumene-bearing pegmatite dykes and its integration with multi-sensor data analysis is expected to create a comprehensive 3D model of the area. This model will not only enhance our understanding of the subsurface geology but also refine drilling targets that complement the high-grade lithium assays obtained from earlier drilling efforts. Notably, the eagerly awaited results from dyke #04 will further inform our exploration strategy.

Strategically situated along the resource-rich Trieste Greenstone Belt, the Trieste Lithium Project neighbours several other prominent lithium ventures, including projects by Rio Tinto/Midland Exploration and Winsome Resources’ Adina-Jamar project, which boasts a JORC Inferred Mineral Resource Estimate of 59 Mt at 1.12% Li2O. The region's burgeoning potential is further bolstered by Winsome Resources' recent acquisition of the Renard processing facility, signaling a rapid development phase for this lithium-rich area.

With a robust financial foundation, featuring $6.4 million in cash reserves, Loyal Lithium is optimally positioned to lead the development of the Trieste Greenstone Belt into a top-tier lithium hub. The Company’s commitment to collaboration, as demonstrated by the memorandum of understanding with Winsome Resources, is set to enhance regional synergies and accelerate collective advancement.

Loyal Lithium’s Managing Director, Mr. Adam Ritchie, commented:

“Credit to the Loyal Lithium team for investigating and securing this innovative suite of technologies via ‘Expert Geophysics Limited’ that will significantly enhance our exploration strategy. The Trieste Lithium Project is distinguished by its high-grade Lithium and Tantalum within a metasedimentary host rock, which enables the use of such cost-effective geophysical surveys and the creation of a detailed 3D structural model to identify our next drilling targets. In time, the metasediment advantage will also offer substantial advantages for mining and processing

“The Trieste Greenstone Belt is taking shape and with the acquisition of the Renard processing facility and infrastructure by Winsome Resources there is now a clear path forward. Our collaboration MOU with Winsome Resources demonstrates our combined commitment to establishing the region as a premier Lithium hub.”

New Administrative Review Tribunal affirms TPB decision to protect public interest

The new Administrative Review Tribunal (ART) has rejected an application on appeal by former Gold Coast tax agent, Philippe Colin (also known as Phil Colin) to overturn the Tax Practitioners Board’s (TPB) decision to terminate his registration and impose a 4-year ban from reapplying. Mr Colin’s registration was terminated after the TPB found he had breached 5 items of the Code of Professional Conduct (Code) and no longer satisfied the fit and proper person requirements to be registered. A TPB investigation ascertained Mr Colin lodged amendments to clients’ income tax returns without their authorisation and claimed unsubstantiated deductions despite receiving…
