IntoWork Australia is pleased to announce a merger with Queensland based social enterprise Help.

The exciting move sees Help become part of the IntoWork Group, and increase the opportunities and pathways for Australians with disability.

Established in 1983 IntoWork has grown to become the leading not for profit provider of employment, skills, education and support services, while Help brings more than 50 years specialist experience supporting people with disability lead fulfilling and independent lives.

IntoWork Group CEO Poul Bottern said the merger will create an even stronger integrated network of services and support for people with disability.  “Help has been doing exceptional work in Queensland for more than 50 years and we’re excited to be able to support the continued delivery and further growth of this.”

“The IntoWork Group is an established provider of high quality DES and NDIS services to people with disability across six states and territories. By combining our strengths, Help and IntoWork can continue to deliver the best possible services for even more individuals, organisations and communities than ever before”.

Help CEO Denver Fresser said joining forces with IntoWork will ensure a stronger future for Help and the ability to help more people with disability. “From our first discussion with IntoWork, we knew we were engaging with a leadership team and an organisation that was well aligned with ours in culture, values, purpose and vision. Together with ensuring financial sustainability, we can also maximise opportunities and the benefits of operating at a larger scale.

The merger takes effect on Monday 15 April 2024.

Denver Fresser will proudly continue as Help CEO with governance by the Help Board.
