Place Branding: A Powerful Tool

Place branding, a process of defining and promoting a place's unique identity, has transformative potential for councils and communities.

"Place branding enables communities to understand their unique character and leverage it to improve social and economic well-being," says Speirs. "It's not just about attracting tourists—it's about fostering a strong sense of place and connection for current residents."

Place Branding Australia 2024 runs June 12-13, offering practical advice and strategies for both large-scale and localised place branding efforts.
