See Auctions Through the Eyes of the Auctioneer for the First Time Ever

Webtron 2 mins read

Melbourne, 23/04/2024 – Ray White Cheltenham, in collaboration with Webtron Online Auction Software, is hosting an Australian real-estate auction first this Saturday 27th April in Elwood, Victoria.

For the very first time, the vendor will be able to watch and hear the auction in real-time, through the eyes of Ray White Auctioneer Greg Brydon. The Auctioneer will be wearing cutting-edge VR goggles that will enable new levels of auction interactivity. For example, Vendors and Auctioneers will now have two-way audio-visual communication with each other. Plus, an interactive VR dashboard displaying real-time auction and bidding information.

This means that for the first time, vendors will have control of the auction. No more peeking through the curtains.

Alex Hill, Founder and Director of Webtron, commented on the significance of this event: “Webtron helped sell the first house online ever in Australia in 2007, and since then there’s been tens of thousands of online real-estate auctions. Now, for the first time ever, we are making it possible to see, hear and interact through the eyes of an auctioneer during live real-estate auctions. There’s no turning back. This cannot be unseen.”

Greg Brydon, Auctioneer at Ray White Cheltenham, also expressed enthusiasm about the upcoming event: “As a company, we always want to put the client first and to be able to give the vendors a real-time view of what is happening with their most expensive asset is an absolute game-changer. Never before has the vendor been able to feel what the auctioneer feels and see what the auctioneer sees.”

This ground-breaking auction event will take place at 11am on Saturday 27th April, at 3/30A Ormond Road, Elwood, VIC 3184. The property will be open for inspection from 10:30am.
