NSW Police knife powers – expert available for comment

Professor Luke McNamara is available today to comment on the legal perspective of new NSW Police powers regarding knife searches.

Luke is an expert in criminal law reform, the use of criminalisation as a public policy tool, and public order and the regulation of behaviour in public spaces. He has previously commented on policing during the COVID-19 pandemic and NSW sexual consent law reforms
