Pinnacle Minerals Ltd (PIM:ASX) – Adina East (Quebec) Lithium Project LIDAR Survey Complete

Pinnacle Minerals Ltd (PIM:ASX) 2 mins read

Perth, WA — Pinnacle Minerals Ltd. (ASX: PIM) ("Pinnacle" or "the Company"), a leading technology minerals company, is pleased to announce the successful completion of the Light Detection and Ranging (LIDAR) and orthophoto survey at the Adina East Lithium Project, located in the prolific James Bay region of Quebec. This crucial step marks a significant milestone in the 2024 exploration program, which is progressing as planned.

The LIDAR survey, conducted over the entire project area, along with high-resolution orthophotos, has enabled the creation of a detailed digital elevation model. This model is instrumental in identifying potential pegmatite outcrops, which are often indicative of lithium deposits. The accurate mapping of these outcrops allows for direct, targeted exploration efforts, significantly reducing the time and capital typically required for early-stage explorations.

Pinnacle Minerals Managing Director, Nic Matich, commented:

“The Pinnacle team has kept to the timeline outlined in the 2024 exploration plan announced on the 10th of April 2024. The LIDAR and orthophoto survey will serve to optimise the identification of potential pegmatite outcrops. The benefit of undertaking this program is a reduction in exploration capital required to further progress the project”.

Upcoming Exploration Phases

Following the survey, the next steps for the Adina East project will include field mapping and rock chipping in Q3 2024, followed by trenching and potential diamond drilling of identified lithium targets in Q4 2024. These activities are aimed at verifying the presence of spodumene-bearing pegmatites, a vital component in lithium battery production.

Low- and middle-income Australians with super should not foot the bill for compensation scheme cost blowout

The Super Members Council (SMC) is urging the Government to rethink its decision to push the bill for compensation scheme cost blowouts onto Australians with super, with data in the Mid-Year Economic and Fiscal Outlook (MYEFO) released today showing super tax receipts at forecast highs. Super tax receipts are expected to increase by $10.9 billion over the forward estimates from 2025-26 compared to the estimates in March’s Budget, a 10% increase on the already-high levels estimated in the last update. Despite that, the Government is asking poorer Australians, already feeling squeezed by cost-of-living pressures, to help plug a hole in…
